Step one - call someone who knows how to do tile

Step two - pay the man

Step three - open beer, start barking orders as though you know how to do it better than they do.

    Enjoy!waytogo

I did...Hated it! First one ever. My friend helped me doit. One thing we forgot to do is while you are tileing the walls don't forget to include the soap dish & any corner shelfs you may want to put up. They set into the tile not on top of the tile hahahhahaha
Sloping the floor to the drain was the hardest part. After I had the morter sloped I didn't let it harden all the way and laid the tile anyway...the next day the floor was crooked. I said F-it and put down the grout anyway, who said tile has to be straight anyway hahahaha

Oh and use the pre-mixed white stuff for the tile on the walls.

PS- now that I screwed up this shower's floor my wife won't ever let me do tile againwaytogo PERFECT, now I never have to doit again YYYEEEHHHHAAAAAA!!

I only have to do one wall, I don't have to mess with the pan either so maybe I can get away without messing it up to bad.

That makes it easy, like I said get the premixed white stuff that way the tiles won't slide down on yawaytogo If they do still try to slide use a sheetrock screw and put it just under the tile fer it to rest on. Then after dry simply remove the screw from the wall:D

    Good Luck

I generally use the same technique recommended by Shaggy...

Some things just aren't worth fooling with. Tile (of any kind) and sheetrock are on that list for me.

Burt pretty much got it. I usually start in the middle of the wall verticall and horizontally. Snap a level chalk line across the wall and start going up/down. The premixed white stuff won't let the tiles slip and it dries fast. Just make sure to check your vert/horizontal lines every few courses, don't want crooked lines... Hey if you want to pay for the plane ticket I'll come remodel your house for some more truck money... :pimp:
