I got one 3 or 4 days ago. Something about OBD not turning on the Check Engine light when "required" to while monitoring emissions. The letter says if you don't get it fixed your vehicle may not pass emission tests for your area and you may not be able to renew your registration. Since I'm 10,000 lb. GVWR I don't have to emissions test in Portland, OR.

I guess I'll take it in even though the truck is running great.

    Found this on Dieselmann.

This recall is to prevent most of the problems with the turbos and egr's, you will notice the truck idling better and may even run better, You have to get this done to pass emissions, There will also be a 59b01 which is a customer assurance test drive, basically they take the truck down the highway make sure everything is ok and then give it back to you shouldnt be down for more than a day no matter how busy the dealer is.
