 I went to the high desert diesel roundup in Palmdale a couple of weeks ago. It was awesome!! Fastest truck of the day was a 2000cummins 2500 ex cab LB 4x4 w/ stacks. it ran an 11.6 at I think 115?? They also had sled pulling and a local dealer brought out an 06' Ram mega cab w/ a cummins and a 6-speed. It only had 47miles on it. it pulled the sled pretty well. There were alot of cummins there and about half as many d-max. The d-maxes seemed to dominate the majority of the racing. There were only like 4 fords and they all sucked. My favorite race of the day was a D-max cc sb with a 6" lift on 37s that whooped a 2005 Mercedes CLK55 AMG. It was awesome!!

i used to drag my 88-up 2x4 truck. stock 350tbi with 700r4 tranny and 3.42 rears. vary consistent in the 1/4 mile. realy pi$$ed of my buddy as i never had to change for air/temp like the carbs do. :stir:

i do plan on draging my next truck at the strip and if any ricers on the street try to get me from the red light i might just hit the gas with the 5.13 rears and lockers.

I take my 03 ZX6RR down to the strip every once in a while. I think my best time was a 10.80@125mph. But I still hadn't gotten all the bugs out of the quick shifter. I had it set to work at 12,500 RPM and up. But when ever I would bump the shifter, it would go into a false neutral. I need to set it up closer to redline to prevent that from happening again!

I have a 67 firebird with a 89 Turbo Trans Am engine. has run the best of 6.32@109.28 1/8th & 9.93 @ 134.64, 1.46 short time. just sold our 20k mile Grand National that would run high 10.90's all day longwaytogo & still get 24mpg in street tune with the wife driving it;) & you could drive that car anywhere & not have ANY problems, drove like a stock one untill you jumped on the GO pedal.

In the planing stage is a Fox Body Mustang with two forms of forced induction and a 351W upgrade and a 9 inch rear.
I would like to take my Super Duty and my Bronco down to the loacal strip and see what it could do but I dont think it would be all the amazing but it will be once my brother gets his new 6.0 and some of the planned upgrades.

Also I have to give the D Max guys this I saw one stomp Hemis in cars and trucks, ricers and yes even some Mustang GTs lat time I was at the strip.

At the TDR May Madness in Vegas last year I got my 9600 lb lifted dually to a 16 second 1/4 mile. I think it was the fastest 6 speed on the track. There were a lot of auto's burning 14 and 13 and 12's. Goal for the 06 - I want 11.9 or better!
