Anyone using Bell Turbo's WSB or USB turbo? I have personally met Pias many times and BS'd with him about Cummins Dodges. From what I have seen his turbos are the best out there, and the world land speed record from a diesel pickup used his twins....I saw them in his office and they are HUGE. :pimp:

I don't know if I will ever go to a bigger turbo myself, I haven't even gotten to a performance exhaust yet but if I do one day it will definantly be his WSB model. He says the USB is too big and falls on it's face in the lower RPM's, especially when hooked to a load because it's built for huge boost at higher RPM's.

Anyone out there using his turbos?

    Hello,
I'm pretty sure I have a bell turbo. I've had alot of trouble identifing the thing. It's a USB, huge sucker. It's nice to finally find someone that know a little about them. Does some have any contact info, so I can get a-hold of someone from Bell?

His shop used to be down the street from me, I bought probably 10 turbos from him over the years. He know is in Oregon, can't quite remember the town's name though. I can get ahold of him if need be.

    bell turbos

    Wow,
You have no Idea how good it feels to know I can finally get in-touch with someone who knows what a bell turbo is. It would be great to get ahold of the manufactor. If you geta chance let me know his e-mail or just a phone # will work too. This is awsome! It may sound silly but for a bout 3 1/2 years now, I've been wondering what I'm going to do if there's a problem with my turbo. This is just a huge releif. Any info you can get would be great. Thanks for the help. I would be interested in knowing how you like the turbo's you bought from him too.
    Let me know. Thanks again

Well, the turbo's I've bought from Pias have been for 11.1 and 12.7L Detroits. Basically stock units, no performance turbos.

I don't have any info on Pias currently, but I think my dad remembers the town he relocated to in Oregon. All I have to do then is call info. and find him.

You aren't alone, he has sold a LOT of turbos to local boys around here, and there are some big HP in this general area.

RJF - I think i've seen you around stockton. I think you were driving down Fremont street one day a month or so ago. I've got a white '02 2500. What are you running the detroits in? Did you end up getting a turbo from Pias? We've been talking about making a new turbo, not a wsb and not quite a usb. He's not sure of the details yet but he is planning on getting started on it in a few weeks.

S.Janks - if you need to contact Pias, he is now in Corvallis, Oregon and his phone number is 541-757-7580.

The guy who used to own my boat repair shop has had a good relationship with Pias for over 20 years. I am now starting to work with him as we *he* is developing a turbo for my truck. I can tell you that if you have a bell turbo, you probably won't have to worry about it breaking. His stuff seems to be bulletproof. Most of his turbos also seem to be mostly hybrid, so it would make it difficult to i.d. one.

I was actually on Fremont street about 2 weeks ago(??) headed to United Rentals to pick up a giant 8K vaccuum. :D

Wait a minute.... I was also in that area some time ago (probably a little over a month) and I flipped a U-E right by a white Ram that I think was lifted, nice treads, and I could see 4" strait pipe??. Was that you?waytogo

yeah, more than likely. My shop is at 5-star marina, which is at fremont and yosemite, so if it was around there, it was probably me. I know I saw a red sport 2500 that looked and sounded pretty good, and there's not too many of those around :)
