I keep seeing more and more females driving around diesel pickups....:doah: Not that there is anything that is wrong with that, when she gets out, looks like she knows what she's doing, and has a horse trailer hooked to the back of it.

I see tons and tons of what appears to be girlfriends and wives driving around in our trucks. Why do chicks desire to drive our big loud diesel pickups? Whats wrong with their car? I know these ladies aren't needing their guy's truck for pulling a huge gooseneck, as I see them hoping in and out of the trucks with backpacks, purses, and shopping bags.:doah:

well its not just diesels I see alot of em driving gassers to my wife loves hers its great for her crafty projects and my friend uses her to haul building materials to her home now both of em drive yotas but I have seen of good bit in good ol detroit trucks.
I think with the advent of more and more four door trucks and the utility abilitys now both sex's can have there cake and eat it to kinda think its makes women look abit hotter to:pimp:

I read some stat about five years ago that said that women went from buying less than 10% of all trucks to something like 30%. I know I see a lot of them.

sounds like you drive a diesel to disguise your masculinity and women compromise your front...

My wife drives our truck daily, I commute 160 miles round trip, so I have a little Toyota for that. We have the truck to tow the fifth wheel, and it makes more sense for her to drive that than buy another car, esp. since she hauls around three kids all the time.

The truck isn't about a "guy thing" or being "tough" it's a tool, pure and simple.

My wife drives my dually all the time and other than being a pain to park (according to her) she enjoys driving it. According to her she feels safer in it and being female she enjoys the attention she gets when guys do a double take when they see her step out of it or when she passes them going the other way.

As for towing with it once I gave her some pointers and let her tow an empty trailer to get used to it now she has zero problem taking the wheel while loaded so I can get some shut eye.

Id much rather look at an easy on the eyes chic driving around a truck than some dude any day of the week and as we all should know by now women like attention....which they get plenty of when theyre driving a truck.

Pulled up at the pump to find a lifted match painted Super Duty with a PSD. 20 something blondie in a suite gets into it. I almost told her "give the truck back to your boyfriend...." But I held my tongue.:stir:

Guess the world is changing.... chicks want attention and drive vehicles designed for a completely opposite purpose than what they want them for...... Guess I might as well follow the trend....buy a minivan, cut a hole in the roof, notch it, and hook the gooseneck to it....

My wife doesn't have a truck.

She drives mine quite a bit. Things that don't fit in her PT cruiser, go easily in the bed of my truck. With Christmas coming, I'm sure she will need it again...
