The Edge website doesn't show the attitude controller available for the 2nd gen 24v trucks. I thought this was an option with the Comp Box. Is it?

I *think* it is a new and completely standalone product - different from the Comp. Same basic product as the attitude for the 3rd gens. Could be wrong tho. If and when it comes out, might be a better deal than buying a comp, buying gauges, pod, etc. Any idea on pricing?

Dang..... I was liking the idea of the attitude controller along with the Comp. Guages sound like a pain to put in, are expensive, and the Attitude gives more info anyway. :doah:

ya it was a cool race... when we both got our chips we stopped in front of his house and both put ours in level 3. brian was driving my truck so when we both floored it my truck just burned out like crazy but i think since erik has 3.55's his didnt burn out. but when my tires stopped smoking i pulled ahead pretty quick

there was alot of smoke in the air though :pimp:

Edge has officially confirmed that it WILL offer an Attitude controller for 2nd gens late in 05. It is not clear if a new and different fueling module from the Comp will accompany the new Attitude controller......if a Juice module is offered for 2nd gens to work with the Attitude, I would not expect to see much, if any power gain over the Comp......time will tell. A press release is scheduled for later this month on the Edge website. :)

That would be terrific. I am really liking the controller after looking into it and think that would be the perfect combo matched to the Comp box. I hope they don't produce a "juice" module like the 3rd gens that "only" makes 250ft lbs unlike the Comp that makes 350ft lbs. waytogo Hopefully they will adapt the Comp to work with the attitude!

Keep us informed on the subject! I have nothing but time to kill anyway, I still have nearly a year left of warranty, kind of a good and bad thing.... rotfl

As for the Juice only offering 250 ft/lbs vs the Comp being 350 ft/lbs, it has less to do with the fueling modules and a whole lot more to do with the different engines and fuel managment. You will notice that the more hp they want the later model engines to make, the more they raise the hp peak.....this is done in an effort to make more hp and keep the torque levels down. How do you make more hp without more torque? Raise the rpm level in which peak hp is made. Example : A 12v cranking out 325 hp is making 800 ft/lbs +/- , a 2nd gen 24v @ 325 hp is usually around 725 ft/lbs.....now look at a 3rd gen 24v HPCR @ 325 hp - only 610 ft/lbs! Notice where the high side of the hp curve is on these engines is? It gets progressively higher on each successive engine.....FWIW, if more than a 250 ft/lb gain is desired from a 3rd gen with a Juice, the "Hot" Juice is offered and should offer in the area of an additional 100 ft/lbs without much trouble.....I saw dyno results from a 600 HPCR that was only equipped with a Hot Juice make 421 RWHP.....not bad for just a box on a CTD!
