I was curious if any one has has seen or is currently using an air bag sytem that will mount easily on my 2004 dodge. I currently have the B&W turnover ball hitch sytem mounted and some of the air sytems I have seen look like they bolt to the frame where my B&W bracket is currently at. Any help is apprecited thanks!
When you say airbag system, do yo mean a full airbag system, or the helper style air bags? I have a 2006 dodge ram quad cab 2wd shortbag 5.9 cummins auto with a b & w turnover and was running firestone ride rite helper airbags on the rear. i have since removed them due to the interference with my mbrp cool dual exhaust. will put them back on as soon as i get another exhaust.imp:
Bigg-P, Thanks for the reply! I was talking about the helper bags from firestone that sell for roughly $250. It looks like in the product photo that the way it mounts it the B&W setup would not allow it to bolt on and sit the way it should. Do you by chance have a photo of yours so I can see how it is mounted? Thanks for your help
No I don't. Sorry. I took them off until I can replace my xhaust again. The mbrp cool dual exhaust I have rubs against the air bag. But I didn't have any clearance issues with the hitch and the bags. By the way, my setup is the same as yours with the helper springs.
