o.k. Has Anyone Had The Turbo Go Bad With 6700 Miles On A 6.7??? well Mine Just Did, 3 And Half Weeks Ago Threw 2 Codes(will List Later) And Lost Power But Still Drivable Just Very Slow....well Dropped It To The Dealer Got It Diagnosed 3-4 Days Later And Said The Acuator Was Clogged (soot) So The Whole Turbo Had To Be Replaced.....but They Are Back Ordered And I Have To Wait In Line Behind The 3 Other Trucks Their For The Same Problem....wow!!!! well The Got It Fixed 23 Days To Replace A Turbo But What Do You Do When The Turbo Soots Up Again, Keep On Waitingfor A Other Turbo.....thats What The Dealer Told Me Dodge And Cummins Does Not Have Any Other Fixes.....so What Do I Do ???? I Guess Cross My Fingers And Pray It Doesnt Happen Ever Again Or Happen 2-3 Times And Try And Pursue Lemon Law.....well I Just Wanted Some Input On Your Expirences With The New 6.7 Problems......thanks
you bet all the latest and greatest from dc....but the truck went back to the dealer yesterday for....bad diesel smell from ac vents, rough idle a etc light on and off and trans jerking very hard when down shifting at 10-11 mph.....they call later that day and said the turbo boost pressure sensor switch was shorting out making the truck run like that. i was surprised they didnt catch while sat their for almost a month just a week ago when they replaced the turbo......oh well cant do to much about it i guess thats why we have warranty......
yes i had the same problem.. i didnt even tow hard either.. it only took them bout a week to get the part.. now were you using the exhuast brake alot?? i did but after i had the turbo changed i decided to stop using it.. does it affect the turbo??
