It is now time to up grade the exhaust. I have a few questions. What brand should I go with and why (fit and finish, quality of workmanship, materal, so on and so forth). Thanks for the input

I plan on Rip Rook's 5" exhaust. He uses a Diamond Eye muffler. His kits are VERY popular with the Dodge guys.

If you are going to install yourself, I'd go with a 4" MBRP. They weld all the hangers in place and everything lines up perfectly. Use their stock muffler for a nice mellow tone or do a muffler delete and add an Aerotrubine if you want a little more obnoxious noise.

The quality of the MBRP is great, but I'm not a fan of the sound of their muffler. I prefer Magnaflow when it comes to a nice, high quality, good sounding exhaust.

You can order an MBRP system with a muffler delete option and install whatever muffler you choose. Have you ever heard an Aeroturbine?

I heard a 7.3 with an Aeroturbine on it for the first time a couple weeks ago. It sounds good! That is a good idea putting the MBRP exhaust on with a different muffler.

have you thought about just cutting out your muffler & cat to get rid of the back pressure, mines not bad for noise with the window down & when its up you cant even here the exhaust.waytogo
