Dad put a new VP44 and EDM Mach 1 65HP injectors in his 2002 H.O. yesterday. WOW, sure gave the truck a whole lot more zoooooomm... His fuel mileage looks like it's increased considerably to boot! He was very dissapointed when he bought the truck and found it to be getting 14/17mpg. I drove it a lot today and can tell just by the overhead monitor and fuel consumption by the guage that he is using the same or even less fuel than my '01 now. I get 15.5/20. All I can say is that I am glad he didn't go with an Edge EZ, the Mach 1's rock. The engine is much more responsive all the way through the powerband.

It even picked up a little from off idle with nearly no boost. I think it's mainly the much better throttle response that I am feeling. As soon as the turbo starts building....zooooom.:)

It jumps hard in 2nd and 3rd gear and is at nearly 3K fairly quickly. The fun starts in 4th, 5th, and 6th.

I am pretty sure EDM makes common rail injectors also. EDM's are supposed to be some of the best from what I have read. They range from Mach 1 65HP sticks all the way up to some crazy nitrous sticks that are like 400HP or something crazy.

That's encouraging to hear since those are actually the SMALLEST EDM's available. Cool.................can't wait to do the 1.6's or 2.0's in the next couple of months. :D

They are the smallest, but anything larger and EGT's become an issue along with clutch slippage. The truck has the stock exhaust, intake, and clutch with no guages. Mach 1's are enough.
