I was wondering if any of you with Bombed Trannys (BTS, John Wood, Monster Box, Suncoast) had experenced any mpg increase due to less internal slippage/Better T/C. I have had no issues with mine yet, Just thinking about doing some serious preventative maintenance.

I drive a Dodge Cummins and not a Ford but I just had my trans gone through with an aftermarket converter with the stall 500RPM's below stock, tighter billet stator, etc. Modified valve body and modified clutch packs. I haven't noticed much for an increase in fuel economy yet but I haven't been able to fully test it out in all conditions since I haven't even put 1000 miles on it yet. Around town I don't think I gained anything, but by how it feel more effiecent I bet I will pick up 1 mpg towing.
