i have a bully dog programmer on my 03CTD i kept the box with the programmer in it in my truck... my gf went to get something one night and didnt notice that she knocked it out, the next morning i ran over the damn thing loland the screen doesnt work anymore...so now my truck is stuck on crazy larry... can i have the dealership take the program off or do i need to contact bully dog and buy a new programmer??? im not really worried about it except for the fact that i haul my dads back hoe around for him while im home and dont want to mess my turck up with it on crazy larry... how can i fix this???
had a friend that did somthing like that and hypertech replaced his.... he just had to send them the old one!!---- don't know about bully dog but it's worth a phone call.
The problem is that the stock program is in the broken tuner and may or may not be retrievable...If it isn't, it'll cost a new ECM (or used one if you can find one)......Ben
My friend just bought a used 2044.5 dodge it had a bullydog in it and the truck was broke into and they stoll the programer so his truck was stuck in what ever mod it was last in. He took it to the dealship and they reflashed his trucks ecm and was good to go. But untill you get the one that go run over you will need to unplug everything under the hood or you might trip a code and your truck will run like crap. His cost him about $90 to reflash. hope this helps
