I don't have a good CB shop nearby, and need to mount my Galaxy DX 95T into my '06 Ram 3500 quad cab. Can anyone tell me the best way to route the antenna cable, and what antenna cable length I should buy? Prefer to do no drilling... but not sure if Dodge has provided any easy way to run the antenna cable through the body.

    Thank you,

    Mike

Not sure what length, but I mounted my CB and 2 meter antennas on my tool box in the bed (for now). I ran the cables through a plug insert in the compartment under of the back seat on drover's side. Pull the carpet back (held by one of those plastic screws. I actually drilled holes, but if you are concerned about restoration you can replace the plug. The plug is actually a metal insert. Then ran it over the carpet to the front of the center console where Ihave my radios mounted vertically with their brackets bolted through the lower compartment on rubber standoffs.

genos garage sells mounts that use the bolts that hold down the center part of the seat. They are real nice. As for the cable I would recamend atleast a 18 foot. I ran my from a custom mount iI made on the front stake hole and ran it up the frame on the passed it through the space where the front fender meets the body and cut a very small slit in a rubber plug on the apillar behind the drivers door and ran it under the carpet from there. I you use a Cable that you can take the end off it makes it alot easier to run.

The cable length depends on the type of antenna. Give me a shout and I can help you out. 5415173534.
