I was looking at some older threads and came across Big Bobs on page 7 about CB/Ham radio mounts. My trk has the bucket seats with the big center console so a floor or under dash mount doesn't work. What I did was order a carpet dash cover and velcro tape it to the dash. The tape that came with the cover was small so I went to Walmart and got some Industral velcro tape in different sizes. I ran my coax and wires up thru the dash, then installed the dash cover, put some of the wide tape on my CB mount and stuck to the dash cover. I have gone off road many times and the cover and CB do not move, plus you can lay things on the dash and not worry about them sliding around. You can reach the radio easy and take it out of the trk fast if needed. Hope this helps anyone wanting ideas about mounting a CB in their trk.

just remember, you aren't the only one who can take it out fast. My 07 has buckets and 6spd. I mounted mine on the passenger side of the hump and my wife has no problems with it getting in the way. It also isn't very noticable there, as the pass seat covers some of it.

I've got one of these mounted in my rig:

It's nice because when I get to the trail head, I just take it out of the tow rig and put it in the trail rig. That way I have a quality CB radio in both rigs for half the price of buying 2 radios.
