Hey guys; I'm at the 5 year mark, time to change the coolant in my 2005, but I have a couple of questions first.

I only have 20K miles on the clock and my coolant still looks like new (along with the rest of the truck as well) could I avoid changing it and in stead maybe just add some anti-corrosion solution assuming that that was the only thing consumed in the system to date?

If changing is required, then should I just drain the radiator and block, get some of the pink stuff along with some distilled water and go for it?

Are there any critical things I should be watching for in this procedure, or tips or tricks I should use?

    Thanks, Michael.

I changed mine at 160,000kms or 100,000 miles and I use Zerox GO5 and it meets the HOAT required for Dodge specs. and it was premixed using deionised water. Good luck getting the block drain plug out mine was real tough, I installe a petcock for next time.
