    How many km's should my CTD last for anybody have any thought's on weather uping the HP will shorten the life span of my motor?

    Cummins motors are typically a 500k mile motor. I don't know the conversion for Km. As for using the HP, I am sure a 750hp truck driven as such will not make 500k miles, but a mild chip when kept in the safe range of temps should not adversely affect the motor life.

    If you stay on top of the maintenance you should be fine for 500k...

    I know that the 2005 CTD is rated at 500k for the first overhaul...
