Cube farm? I'm guessing either a room of cubicles or a housing division?

Not today. I'm only sentenced to the cube farm part-time now

Business ownership & self sufficiency: Good
    Working for the man: Bad

I have an office to myself. :stir:

I did the cube thing for quite a while, it's not so bad in that at least you can talk to your neighbors over the walls, but the privacy of an office is great. RIght now my door is closed and I'm rockin out to Audioslave. waytogo

I've have my own office, we generally keep our doors open but we close them when we need/want to. I was in a cubicle during my internship last summer. Having my own office is much better, alot quiter and don't have that feeling that someone is always behind you, makes it eaiser to get work done and be non productive like right now. :D There are only five people that work here plus the secretary and three of them have been out all day, so it is real peaceful today. When I look out my window all I see are trees, just like being outside just not near as hot. waytogo

Yeah, that's me. The floor I work on has about 60 cubes. I sit all the way at the other end. WE just reorganized a month ago. I pulled rank on a few people and I at least have a window seat now :pimp:

Yup been workin in cubes fer 10yrs+, before that I was a field tech and drove all over the bayarea, that was a cool gig but didn't pay as well as the office job does. I have had a 'window seat' for a while now, after 9-11 my company has shrunk alot. My department alone use to have 60+ people..now we have 14
Hey other than the firewall blocking the good stuff from the internet I have two computers to multitask with, wich simply means avoiding work by surfing the internet and talkin to you guys waytogo

i dont have a cube farm.... i do however have ~200 people under me....

three desks, 2 have computers on them for general use, one has the "host" on it for the aircraft data base and thats my desk 2 or 3 weeks a month. but its not a personal desk. we will be moving hangars and i SHOULD have a personal desk. but thats 10 desks if we go that way... who knows.

I have a pretty sweet 200-ish square foot corner office, windows on 2 sides from waist level to ceiling, my own little conference room table in the corner. Oh yeah, baby. :bling: 74 has me beat on direct reports though...
