    Cross posted from CK5.com:

I haven't puchased anything new for my truck yet besides fuel but I have a few things in mind.
    1. Mud flaps are a must
    2. Some sort of step tubes would be nice too. I feel like I slide off the seat to the ground everytime getting out
    3. Gauges are a must. I'm going to order the 3 gauge dash mount (pyro, boost & trans temp). trying to decide between the Dipricol or Autometer. There's only a $30 difference (Autometer more) . Leaning towards the autometers. They've been around for a long time, good rep, quality gauge. I haven't heard of the Dipricol's before I got into diesels. Any input on them??
    4. A Line-X bed lining after the other mods

I know one of the first acc that I get are line-x and gauges, but I might hold off on the gauges if I go with a modual that includes them.

I thought about that too but the module and associated power adder is $700 minimum. Just not in my budget right now....not with a new truck payment :doah:

    Lets see...

    -Banks in-line 4" exhaust brake
-Banks 4" downpipe that replaces the factory 3.5" cast iron elbow
    -Magnaflow 4" SS exhaust
    -AFE Stage II PG7 Intake
    -Turbo silencer removed
    -TST PMCR
    -Pioneer MP3 Deck
-Fuel Pressure, Oil Pressure, Boost, and EGT gauges (boost and egt aren't installed yet since I had them on the TST but will sometime soon)

Trying to decide right now between more go fast goodies or exterior stuff. Thinking a KORE pace kit but can't decide on wheels, I'm not a fan of any aftermarket dually rims, thinking of a custom non-dually front/dually rear setup.

So far, all Ive done is put a mopar under the rail bedliner in, and a rubber bed mat. Ive got gauges (boost, egt, and fuel pressure, along with an a pillar mount) sitting on my living room floor.. Installing those at a bombing party in a couple weeks, and Im waiting for my straight pipe to show up, other than that, the truck's stayin the way it is.. Im gonna have a mortgage payment to make soon!

Mine is stock. Don't know where to start first really. My main thing is my truck is under warranty so I can't modify the engine or add any software/boxes or it will void it...and that would suck....

I think I can get away with aftermarket exhaust though....and I might do a 5" system (with a muffler) sometime this fall/winter.

    I'm in no hurry.

i know im missing something.... its little, but im missing it....

oh, fast coolers and a cat test pipe are sitting in here waiting for me to get the donaldson muffler in....

i want to do a chip, but it will have to wait. i need a flat bed and a dually setup first... a chip and turbo will be at the same time.

    It's all about towing!!

That's the excuse I use for the following mods,

    98.5 24v auto
Edge EZ (I bought it used on ebay for 1/2 price)
4" exhaust from turbo to 5" stainless magnum extension
(by far the biggest improvement )
K&N Air box ( not a good fit underhood, AFE is better)
Autometer gauges w/pillar pod (fuel pressure is next)
Roadmaster rebuilt trans w/HD converter, alum pan, red line atf
    (towing necessity)
    remote control driving lights
XM satellite radio (for long hauls)
90 gal aux fuel tank in the bed

    01 24v mods

This is my first post on a subject specific Thread, But here go's. After intalling a full Banks Power Pac I soon discovered the weak link. The stock TC. You will notice that even driving from light to light, RPM,s will reach 2200-2400. Well out of usable torque curve. And all the power in the world will do no good if it is absorbed in fluid slip.
I am by no means a pro at this stuff (im just addicted) but I have learned allot about hyp-vs-reality. Top two mods in order of function over form would be fuel pressure insurance (airdog or F.A.S.S) and a good billet TC W/ valve body. Shop around and dont think that the bigger the name the better results and price.
Hope this helps some folks trying to upgrade safely.

100% correct on the TC...lots of power lost there...On making power I like the injectors...100 HP in mine and it screams...and better MPG too.
