I am thinking about putting a cummins into my 96 F350, What is the best year engine to swap into it. Also would it be better to find a donor truck to take the engine out of so I have all the parts. My truck is a manual and I want it to stay that way. Does anyone have any sugestions? Thanks.

The kick A$$ set up would be the common rail, but the 12v is probably the most cost effective and simple install. Also, with the 12v you can look forward to better fuel mileage, and performance is cheap.
