I bought one of these. Got it to the till....$8.99:eek: . I almost went and put it back. Anyway, so I get reading the thing....there are sooo many mistakes in it, you'd think a Toyota Tercel driver wrote the thing. Wrong hp/tq numbers for every engine out there, they claim that GMs 6.2L diesels were all turbocharged (the 6.2L was never offered with a turbo, though BAnks made some kits). Just full of BS. Thumbs down here. I sent them an email telling them to fire the editor.:stir:

Diesel Power has proven to know their stuff though.

I have seen it in the store, never looked at the price, that's steep.

Actually, you could get factory installed Banks turbo setups on a 6.2 before you drove it off the lot in the late 80's.rotfl

couldn't agree more. John Diana had a great concept when he started Streetrod Builder but quickly fell prey to pandering to advertisers. The issue of Diesel Builder I picked up was a complete waste of time. If a guy needs a magazine article to tell him how to follow a kit builder's instructions, he's got no business taking a wrench to anything going down the road.
