How do you guys pull your trailers??

    Level?

    Nose slightly higher?

    Nose slightly lower?

Or do you just hook up every trailer to the same hitch and go?

I usually try to pull trailers with the nose slightly higher than level. Ive noticed it seems easier to go in and out of driveways and it seems to pull stable. If not I will pull level but NEVER with the nose lower. It seems to make the trailer sway more and the jack drags in every dip you go through.

I like it level... doesn't always work out that way though... my main trailer hangs butt-low, so I'm always draggin the tail in and outta driveways. if I go straight over the curb it's fine though...

for some reason when I fully load the trailer it doesn't drag as bad... I guess it flex's enough to take up the slack in the back end...

I usually always have them level, since each vehicle of ours has a set of recievers for all of our trailers.

Having an adjustable hitch like the Rapid hitch is nice B/c I can always set it just how I like it. Most trailers are nose high but our 20' Interstate has tandem torsion axles so It sits only 3/4" higher in the front than the rear so that the axles are evenly loaded.

I try to get them as level as possible, if not a little high in the front.

Towed the other day with it level, it didn't tow as well as slightly higher but I think that was more to do with my buggy has all the weight in the front area and not much in the rear.

hopefully a little more level now with the rebuilt gooseneck tongue, It was actually lifting the front tires on the front axle of the trailer off the ground slightly...
And airbags to level truck now too :)

Using my 1/2 ton (because it's all I have) seems to pull better with a lot of tongue weight as opposed to a more balanced load, regardless of how the trailer sits. Without enough tongue weight it will sway.

I always try to pull level. Thanks to my air bags I can control it with heavy loads on my small dump trailer. ON my goosenecks I adjusted them all to ride level when hooked up and loaded.

I always thought that towing level would be the best, because you have all the trailer tires equally on the pavement, thus giving all around better control, and better wear on the tires ect...

Level is the best and recommended for both truck and trailer.
