The F350 is a good tow rig. If you find one...get the vin and get an oasis done. This will tell you what...if any...warranty work was done on the truck. Oil changes are extremely important...so pull the dipstick and see what the oil looks like...or how many miles are on the oil. If its an auto...pull the tranny dipstick and look at the fluid. Is it a dark red...or bright red. Does it smell burnt? Did it tow for the previous owner. If you find a 00...you get the larger turbo/injectors than what came on the 99...but you'll also get forged rods to better...um...mod with. :) Also...the 00 might have the updated radiator with the tranny cooler in the bottom.

    Good Luck....
