I'm going to add an after market fuel system to my truck.Have read and talked to alot of people about the Fass system.I saw the Air Dog system advertised in Diesel power.Anybody running this system? I would like to know the pros and cons of both systems.Just trying to make the best choice.

I like the Air Dog. Life time warranty, and less money. waytogo Almost $150.00 diff.

How it works appears to be the same. In fact I believe the replacement (fleetguard) filters are the same #.

I haven't received my Air Dog yet, but that filter thing is something I'm looking onto.

    Side by side pic

Here is a pic of a side by side comparison of FASS 150 and an Air Dog 100.

This photo was shared with me by a good friend, Charlie waytogo. Awesome guy and has a great enthusiasm for anything Diesel.... He's the owner of Air Dog.

We stick with FASS. Had nothing but great luck with them and they are on the ball if I need something. The comparison pic on the full systems is a bit misleading. If you compare the smaller 95 series pump and the Air Dog you will find they are much more similar in size. The photo shows the larger 150 series pump, which is what I have on my 06.

Sorry, Don't want to mislead anyone. I have a Air Dog 150 coming soon. I'll see if I can get a comparison.

Is FASS thinking about a lifetime warranty? Any rumors?

So,they both pretty much are identical, the only difference would be the air dog is cheaper? Does air dog offer an adapter to move my fuel pressure sending unit to the back? Thanks for the pics and everyones feed back.

Airdog 150 is same as size as a 100 though so size wise it is a smaller unit plus lifetime warranty and 1/2 inch lines. love mine with no problems in 2 years.

there are a couple ways to do it. We use a T fitting that goes right into the fuel line about 2 feet back from the injection pump and it works very well. You can also make one from stuff at the hardware store. 2 barbed hose fittings, a T and a 1/4npt to 1/8npt reducer and you have it!

I sale both and I still prefer the Fass. I have had fewer issue with Fass as far as holding pressures. waytogo

Just keep in mind that FASS is on a similar program as Edge. Unilateral pricing. If someone tosses you a low low price beware, you will not get the lifetime warranty with it, and likely the dealer is not an authorized dealer.

I just finished up my Airdog 150, I'm pretty impressed in how much quieter my truck runs now. I see 17-18 psi at idle and have not been able to drop it under 16psi on level 5 on the juice.

As fare as the pressure gauge, I used the one that came in my Edge kit for my truck, The Airdog has a port in the case for one. Just had to cut the juice harness and extend the plug leads to reach the middle of the truck.
