Anyone heard the flowmaster system on a diesel pickup? Preferably the cummins? How well does it flow vs. a dynomax? MBRP? I listened to the sound clip on their website and really like the tone of the American Thunder system, and it's decently priced and is a turbo back kit. Any info appreciated. Thanks. :)

Personally, i think they sound goofy, ESPECIALLY on a v-8 diesel. The cummins is decent, but still not right, sounds weirder as the RPM's climb. Id toss a straight pipe on your truck way before i spent the money on a flowmaster.

I second the straight pipe recommendation, Its dirt cheap and will definitely give you lower EGTs and a better sound.

I don't want high noise levels. I've got my K5 or snowmobile for that. Plus, I have heard the Flowmaster system deepens the tone. I just think strait piping it would be a little too loud.

Does your truck have a Cat or resonator on it?

    I'm pretty sure it's a resonator.

It gets louder in the cab, believe me, but not a lot. I care more about the outside. The last thing I need is another cop attention getter.
