This is the first time I changing the filter. Are there different brands? Whats best? Do they have reusable filters? I have a intake, exhaust, and the EZ. But I am planning on getting the Juice w/att. soon. Do I need a FASS system or something like that? Any help is appreciated.

I use a Baldwin fuel filter from Amsoil in the stock housing and I also have a 2 micron spin on fuel filter before the injector pump.

I would run fleetguard as well, I cant remember if Cummins owns or endorsed fleetguard but either way you cant go wrong.

I either order the Donaldson from Amsoil or just get the Fleetgaurd one from the Dealer.

Fleetguard will beat all the others in pricing as well. I'm paying less than $14 per for the Fleetguard FS19800E fuel filter at the local Cummins dealer. I priced WIX brands High Efficiency fuel filter at almost $40.

Hey guys; check this out: http://dieselpowerproducts.com/ (scroll down to the "2 Micron Filter/Water seperater" kit near the middle of the home page)
I put this set-up on my beast this last w/e (I can still smell the diesel on my arms) , no need to run any filter element on the engine unless you just want something to fill the space with.
I started looking for something better when I changed to the 7 mic element last year. When I opened the FleetGuard box, I saw how cheap the new elements looked compared to the original part so got this instead-easier to change to.
Let me know what you think, M.
PS FleetGuard is a product of Cummins Filtration, it was on their website...
