So i went to buy a new fuel filter, and went to install it and it wont work for my truck. the new one has plastic on one side with to clip looking things on it and a rubber seal on the other. The one in my truck now has a rubber seal on BOTH sides, no plastic. They checked other filters at the parts store and they are all the same for my truck. Any idea on what the problem is ? i really want to get my filter changed to see if my milage will increase since i havent changed it since i've had it.
I have the same style as you say you do...I wonder what's up with that. Did you try via a Ford Dealer? Just a thought...
