hey everyone, i need help baaaad... i was driving my truck last week and when i parked it it was fine went to start it the whole cluster was going crazy then stopped working truck would start then stall about 5 times then run and all but the fuel gauge were not working i would hear a ding the gauges would jump then drop back off problem fixed its self for a few days..now all the gauges except for speedo are working,but the abs brake and check engine light are on and the gauges are droping once in a while with the ding when it does it...the truck was also pulling a no start once a while with the gauges were malfuctioning i noticed if i grabbed and jiggled the wires going into the ecu on the side of the engine it would start right away and stay running and ive been getting crazy codes like p0513 sentry key not working,low ac pressure, u0121 lost contact with abs fixed that problem bad wire!looks like a cat chewed on the wires coming out of the abs sensor on the rear!!!
well after my truck decided to die and would not start at a light today,i had to have it towed and i found out that the abs pump was all burnt up and the plug was shorted and burnt.....this sucks!!! guess that could be the problem with the gauges or at least maybe part of it also i think maybe the root of the problem could be that the wires coming off the speed sensor on the rear were chewed by an animal and were all messed up i replaced the damaged section of wire now to bte the bullet and buy a new abs pump and i dont know where to find the harness plug for the abs unit
