    Gcvw

Adding gizmos to your truck (bags, springs, etc.) has nothing to do with your GCVW. That is set by the manufacturer. The gizmos just helps your peace of mind.

They are not going to "soften" the ride, mushy overloaded springs are soft. Air bags are going to remove some of the weight and pressure off the springs, letting them flex firmer.

ok,,so when the flex is taking uot,,isnt it not going to bounce around as much when loaded ,,also ,,when loaded the airbags will keep my truck from sagging in the rear

airbags will smooth out the ride if you have them adjusted up to factory ride heigh. if you go more than about an inch lower you end up running the jounce bumpers onto the secondary packs. this makes for a harsh ride. doesnt hurt anything but the back.

i love my ride rites. just need a compressor system for them... make life even easier.
