Looks like the Gen 3 dodges are having some frame problems. I read on another forum that a slide-in camper is not recommended on the 3500DRW. Seems that the hydroformed frames are cracking..

Check this link for more reading...

and from the dodge upfitter site...

Come on now, guys, don't you realize that it doesn't matter about any cracking frames, or wheels falling off, or crappy interiors, Dodge HD truks will always be the best because they have a Cummins.

Yeah totally man.....The salesmen at the dealerships keep a tube of crazy glue in their back pocket just to keep the trucks in one piece to get them off the lots...Ford and GM are SSSSSOOOOOOO much better, totally!

Now you're coming around rotfl Seriously though, that is pretty bad that a 1ton DRW truck isnt recommended to have a slide in camper.

I like my 2nd gen better than anything else anyway. :D Fords and GM's aren't any better than the Dodges, they're all neck and neck. None of the big three would introduce a truck that can't compete with the other two.

Guess this offers one explination as to why dodge doesnt offer a cab and chassis or anything above a 1 ton, they cant even get the 1 tons right.
