Was looking for a used extended cab truck or a suburban to tow the jimmy. I was driving the wifes minivan around looking and ending up trading it in on a 05 gmc sierra 2500 HD. My wife loves me to give up her 02 minivan for a truck. I think she wanted it too though. I even through one in there with my boy and I. It looks as though I am fat and bald in these pictures. I assure you all that I do have hair just short. The fatness is from the camera angle of course LOL.

I got the 6.0. I still do not know what cubic inch it is? Nor do I know the gas mileage. I love it so far.

Its something around 367 i think, when i pick up oil filters the book has the ci next to the liters. I took mine for the first "long" haul and it did good, i had to figure out when i needed the tow/haul and when i didnt, on flat ground i was pulling my blazer around 70 mph without it on, but anytime the nose was pointed up it was on, and with some steep climbs i would let it slow to 50-55 just because i didnt want to rev the engine to bad, and burn the extra gas

The 6.0 is a 364 cid motor. Congratulations! :waytogo: You will probably get in the neighborhood of 13-15mpg average city and highway. At least that's what mine gets, your automatic might get slightly lower mileage, especially if it's the Allison.
