I've got something wrong with my heating system. When I turn on defrost my windows fog up and I can smell antifreeze. It seems to be worse with the defrost on, but I can still smell a slight hint of coolant with the floor setting on.

I don't seem to be losing any high amount of coolant and my floorboard is dry and so sign of coolant dripping in the cab.

My guess is a small leak in the heater core or something wrong with the heater valve? I am not sure how these Dodges regulate flow into the core, so maybe someone has a better idea of what is wrong.

    Thanks.

Leaky heater core, got much worse a couple days after posting this and had the cab fill up completely with steam...rotfl :doah:

Changed the heater core....had to drop the steering columb, pull the entire dash assembly, engine air box, transmission PCM, depressurize the A/C system, remove the heater/ air conditioning/blower housing....and finally R&R the heater core....

    Yeah, it sucked...:doah:

Unless you either cut a big hole in the firewall and cowling I can't see how someone could have gotten it out without removing the A/C lines.
