rotflJust want to say hi and speak on my 87 Ford f 250 w 6.9 Diesel. I ripped it apart and started over. Now it will become a WVO monster. Once the Diesel is trimmed out then the body strieghtened and a set of Dual Stacks. Then a new coat of paint and every scrap of chrome I can find. waytogo Tao
Like my Ex-wife said, " All men say that ". I am looking to refit my `87 Ford F250 6.9 Deiesel into a WVO burner. I have stareted by replacing some of the componats on my truck but I have a new problem. It has aquired a bad vibration while sitting for three years non-op. The vibration starts at about 40 and leaves at about 50 miles an hour. I thought the U-Joints were bad so R-n-R 'd them; No change. If you 1) know some one that has had this same issue and 2) advice with WVO conversion would be nice. Thanks for the Hey, I was wondering if this was an active Forum site. Now I know. Tao
Thats the puzzle One year before I stored it I had the whole front suspension R n R'd. The pumpkin was done the year before that. Someone suggested the bearings may have siezed from being in one place for so long. We are digging into them next but after I get over yhis flu. I know the diesel mechanic who is well known as a very good mechanic had all the bearings replaced when he did the front end. I really am in a puzzle of a situation. :doah: I know if I had a lift it would be done in a few hours but I doing this on the ground. Rolling around on a creeper in 20 degree weather is not my idea of fun. Do you have anyone that you could ask? An7y help is greatly appreciated. Tao
I would probably ask this question in the general forum and see if you get a bite, this is the greeting forum. :doah:
