I'm wanting a stout-ass bumper for my Cummins. I've looked at these 3 and I'm leaning towards the HERD.

    Herd:

    What are y'all's opinion?

I think I like the last one its more subtle and rough looking, and I think it would be easier to keep clean.

An OTR my wife works with has a Herd on his big truck and he says he doesn't even hit the brakes any more. He's hit moose in canada without letting off the cruise and it didn't even faze it.

I havn't seen a road armor in person, but the other 2 are tough as nails. After seeing them in person, the Herd looks more aerodynamic than the AliArc. Speaking of.... has anyone put one of these on and noticed a drastic reduciton in milage? That's my biggest concern.

Well I did some more searching and I now will probably end up with an AliArc. They're a little less "in your face", and they cost about 40% less ($1250) than the Herd or the Road Armor ($1900-$2000). They're still higly rated for animal colisions and look great!.

I like the bumper stick on the bumper and hey its looks like to cost about two hundred bucks to build with the lights as well of course you could do the same with a head board from Goodwill

We picked up Road Armor about 6 months ago. Nice quality. Spendy, but great bumpers, and great people to work with. I'll be instaling them front and rear on mine eventually . . . .

Let me know if you need a price!

    bumpers

Those big shiney things sure are purtty!!! But would ya want to push a buddys truck home or push a mad cow through the gate with one of em? I have a front bumper from Clark Welding Mobeetie, Tx 806-845-1027. They are heavy duty and tough and are priced pretty friendly!!! I have pushed jeeps and pick-ups to the front of a 3-car wedge trailer. The 2 large rubber strips built into the durn things leaves no scratches, mars, dings. Even shoved a mad old cow that was on the fight through the gate far enough to close the gate withought gettin tromped!! I will drive to Texas from Florida to get another whenever I trade trucks. Sorry, but I ain't sharp enough to put the pic on here, so don't tell me to cut and paste, as I quit doing that about the 3rd grade!! Ithink I can send a e-mail pic if ya want one. Am heading out to Ga, IL, And Kan tomorrow afternoon, so I might be a lil slow to reply.

have you looked into buck stop? i think the web site is buckstop.biz and they are supposed to be built for deer strikes.

there baja bumper looks pretty nice, not over the top just nice and sturdy.

    Bumpers

Those are all nice bumpers. I have an 06 250SD and the only thing I don't like is there are no air vents on some of them for the coolers.
