I am trying to install a trailer brake controller in my 2003 F-250. Can anyone tell me what color the wires are in the wiring harness on the Ford side. I have found a connecter close to where the Body Builders Guide indicates, but there is no identification on the harness. Any help will be appreciated.

When I installed mine, I bought the matching harness for my 03 F-250. Sure did make it easy to install. Lucky for you I kept the instructions. Here goes:Red-12 volts, Lt.Green-Stoplight, White-ground, Dark Blue-Trailer Brakes, Brown- N/A. Hope that helps. Ed.

    Brake controler

PO cut the plug off on my 96 F250. It took me 2 days to find the loose wires. I hard wired mine in, if the plug is there it makes it a snap to install. If not another poster gave you the right wire color and function. Good luck. Hey, what brand of controler did you get, I used a Prodigy, it's sweet to set up!
