Those pulling bumper-pull trailers, what do you use for a hitch?

I started pulling with a standard 2" hitch with a 2-5/16" ball and didn't think anything of it, until I discovered that it was only rated for 5,000lbs (and I'm pulling 8500) So I went and spent $50 on a 12,000 hitch & ball. I feel a whole lot better about it now

I'll eventually go with a weight distro hitch but for now this will work great.

I have about a half dozen of the standard 2" 5klb rated hitches of varying drops, And we have a rapid hitch 10klb GTW and 1500lb tongue weight. It is nice as it is adjustable and has a 2" ball and 2 5/16" ball that we use for our enclosed trailer

We use an alumister for all of our trailers, it's 13K GTW and 2000lb TW. On the trailers we tow often we've set the height of the tongue to be the same. We also have a rapid hitch for towing other stuff.
