How about starting a Hot Shot section. We have alot of Hot Shotters here now and could probably attract alot more if we had a section.waytogo
Ok, let's try it, let's come up with a name for the forum and a short description, I will take care of the rest.
How about Hot Haulers and the description could be limited to those who have achived Hot Shotters Status Only just my .02
How about this: Hotshot Hauler Pick-up and deliveries that require little notice, and go directly from point A to point B quickly.
that would be great so that way the hot shotters on here can unite and share comments suggestions and tips with newbies and oldies to the industry!
Ok, added the forum but still think we should redo the description, maybe something like List loads, deliveries for hire etc.. I dunno
Small Trucks...big Hearts!!! I think that a specialty forum for hot shot drivers would be cool, but the only problem I see is there are a lot (majority) that do not have a clear cut description of hot shot trucking. We would have to have a mediator that could verify what the laws are and that is a big responsibility. I would like to see Towrig.com more for tow rigs, and not 4X4's. Out topics and threads are no different than they are no cumminsforum.com. How about just keeping this forum but keeping it for real tow rigs. RV hauling, Trailer tips and tricks, Hitch Set Ups, Tire and suspension information, USDOT Laws, things to know about scale houses, as well as other information that is really about towing? I would love a site I could find drivers, help educate transporters and hot shot drivers on etiquette, laws, money saving tips, truck stops etc... I have tons of great information that could save a lot of money for drivers as well is things like a list of Wal Marts that are RV Friendly and allow overnight parking, a GPS program showing all the truck stops etc... The hardest part of running a trucking company for me was when I started finding out all the things I could and could not do. just my .27 cents worth.
That's exactly what this forum is for: http://www.towrig.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=56 Am I missing something?
