how much HP does a stock 7.3 have

    does anyone know how i can find out or know what the stock HP on a 7.3. the truck is an 01' if that matters. just curious bout it.

    Should say on a label on the passenger side valve cover. I know mine does but its a 97. It says 225@ ? rpm Medium duty diesel engine Or somthing along those lines.

    If it's an 01 Stick then it should have 275. If it's an Auto then it's 250.
