How many times a day/week/month/year do you actually tow something with your truck??

I average about 1-2 times a week pulling a trailer of some sort...

    How about you all???

    That's why I have it

It usually does not leave town without the trailer, that's what I bought it for. I transport antique and classic cars and or parts to supplement my pension and support my old car hobby.
Just got home from 11 states, 4,200+ miles and 335 gals of fuel in 7 days.

Besides, it rides better with the gooseneck hooked up.

I bought mine just for traveling to trail rides, thanks to gas prices and a job that dont slow I have only been out once, but I find that i pull the blazer around to places that before I would have just driven it to keep everything on the trailer good to go. Saturday I had to cut a friends yard and didnt want to empty the truck bed so i loaded my lawn tractor onto the trailer and off we went, looked funny but oh well.

I don't pull trailers all that often, mostly seasonal for me. Lots during the winter, we go snowmobiling almost every weekend during snow season. Either mine or my dad's Cummins drags the 27' toybox to the snow. I'm a farmer and we also have a trucking business, I drag around farm stuff during the spring/fall and have to drag around trucks every once and a while. My record was a loaded truck weighing in at 79,400lbs.

About 12 times a year. Bought it for a DD - I wanted a large vehicle that gets good mileage, the towing power is a bonus.

I just bought mine at the end of July as a company truck/DD and recreational tow rig. I've used it for towing 3 times since. I went out to my buddys house and picked up a cab, towed it home, picked it clean. Then I took it to the scrap yard. Then I towed the K10 to the trail head (about 120 miles 1 way) and it was awesome, I could hardly tell it was back there except for the smoother ride and increased turbo whistle on hills.

Realistically, I tow with it on average, 10-12 times/year. More often in the summer, less in the winter. As my business grows, I will be able to not have to have a regular day job, and more money to afford to do more trail rides, so that average will increase with time.

    I hope to have a slide-in camper within a year or 2.

    Mike

I barely drive my truck once a week, let alone with a trailer behind it.

Of the 20K on our 7 month old truck at least 10K has been towing. My wife is in the horse business, so trips from colorado to california are every couple months, and we haul our own hay. Oh ya and the reason we bought the truck, for me tow my bronco (once to moab).

my bussiness requires me to tow with my truck almost daily. the trailer itself isnt huge(20ft tandem axle) but the 4000psi heated pressure washer and 500 gallon tank full of water are where the weight is. its not bad but with a sm-465 my legs get plenty of work out.

I tow my freinds 28' enclosed race trailer almost every weekend during the racing season. I also use my 18' flat bed to haul cars and misc. junk to where ever they need to go. I did pull a house once when I get my gallery set up I will post some pictures.

Haha well... I don't really tow at all. I bought my truck for the obscene power and the mileage. Also it makes me feel good knowing that my truck can easily pull anything that i will ever tow.

    tow daily...

I tow almost daily, unless I'm too lazy to unload it the night before...

always coming up with building materials that won't fit in the back of my burb. seems like every day I inherit another "project" so occasionally those go there...

most days though, I just use the trailer as a workbench for something I'm working on...

I tow my 5th wheel on 3-6 trips a year. Since i bought my 02 Dodge I've twoed about 55% of the mileage that I've racked up.The mileage not towing is manly form running around when the trailer is parked somewhere out of state.

then why the hell wate your money on it...........

all i use my 1 ton pickup for is towing, i have another good gas mileage 1/2 ton pickup that gets better mileage than your dodge runnign on cheaper fuel(gas), and the truck was probably 1/2 the cost of yours.

Don't worry about it, he is the one that bought and paid for the truck and nothing came out of your pocket.;)
