installed new programmer after christmas. I decided to go with the hypertech max energy. After running it for a month I am getting about 2.5 miles better on setting 1 and about 3.6 better on setting 2 . and a new clutch on setting 3 . I chose this programmer because I could adjust the speedo for tire changes and can tow in any setting . I am not real sure what the max h/p is , somewhere around 100.

So what are you guys getting overall now in your trucks for mileage? I'm looking to get a new programmer and with the price of fuel one that will help me get better mpg is a big plus, looking at the Diablo Sport right now but just not sure which to get.

I was already getting right at 20. the manual gets a little better than the auto. Now I have reached 24 but, be ready to buy a clutch. SERIOUSLY!! The new torque will rip the stock clutch apart. I am babying mine now, and hope to last til summer. When you stand on it in sixth gear running 60 it will sound likke your running over the ripples at the stop signs. It says that it gains 174hp and aroud 285ft lbs. The engine runs smoother and has great power.

Any module or programmer will change the over head trip computer. In reality (hand calculated) a 1 - 2 MPG increase is the most any will produce.

If you want a programmer that is undetectable and out perform any programmer or module with a slight MPG increase along with smooth and linear power delivery buy a Smarty Sr. or Smarty Jr.

10 mpg difference? you don't mean to tell me that you are getting 10 mpg better. I don't buy that.
