Does anyone no if the intake elbows are worth it and if so any particular brand? I was looking at the S&B intake and cold air combo that they are giving away for a decent price. I have an airaid but i was wanting some with a little more whistle.

I bought an intake from Gbudenhaggen some time ago and loved it! I have the ATS Diesel Arc Flow and it is one of the best things that I did. Somewhere on this site someone posted up the dyno results from a few different manufactures. If memory serves the CFM+ was the best. Followed by the ATS Diesel and I think that last place went to the Blade Runner. Somebody should correct me if I am wrong.

I run the AFE blade-runner on mine.I don't think they make a bit of difference because the elbow/airflow ends up necking down to the stock size when it enters the engine on all the intake elbows.Just my thought.

the intake elbows add some bling under the hood, but probably not much on the dyno

I noticed that the exhaust out of the tailpipes was not a black as it was before. I don't think that I noticed anything in the ol' butt dyno but it did help clean up the exhaust.
