BD makes one to. Can't say much cause i don't have one, but no matter if you upgrade, your stock intercooler will still only move the same air.the opening goin into the engine is still the same size, so how can it flow more air?

I don't know...maybe it creates more pressure in the intercooler. It's one of those deals where I just don't know what I don't know.

I like the CFM+ units, and the BD units are good too. Personally, I would put on the CFM+. There is a difference. I know a shop a ways from here that did back to back dyno runs with the ATS, CFM+ and AFE Blade Runner and the CFM+ came out on top.

    Here is the article

I already liked the CFM+, but after speaking with Eric, I know its whats going on my trucks when the time comes.

I think it has to do with air velocity and flow. I really am not sure, but after talking to Eric and seeing the dyno results, I am fairly impressed. At first, I looked at them as purely a way to do your NOS and Water Meth, but seems like a fairly decent upgrade. And, the CFM+ is about the best priced one in the test, too. Since those came out I hardly ever sell an ATS or Banks manifold.

I talked to about 20 people and some dealers I trust and they all said aside from the taps for nitrous, meth, etc, they are a complete waste of money. That was at the Schied Diesel shootout this year. I will never own one.

According to the article inserted by diesel nut these things can add some substancial gains, the type of gains that could be noticed seat of the pants...anybody noticed these gains other than what the dyno may show.
