    Folks,
I'm looking at performing an intake maifold upgrade and would like some recommendations. I've got a '99 Ram 2500 2wd, extended cab, shortbed with 3.54 rearend. My current mods are reflected in my signature. Future mods are 75HP-90HP injectors, a FASS system and way down the road a tranny upgrade. My mods are aimed at helping my truck to tow my 29' travel trailer and fuel mileage when not towing. I'm looking at the AFE Blade Runner or the CFM+ with the pre-drilled ports. If anyone out there has first hand experience with either of these intakes or can direct me to a site that has a good objective comparison between the two I'd appreciate it. Any and all input is greatly appreciated. Thanks folks!:)

I had the same question a few weeks ago, so there is already a thread started on the subject a few entries down with some very contradictory information. There's a very interesting article that one of the guys posted in the thread that talks about some massive gains along with a comparison, and then other guys talk about getting nothing out of these things..my conclusion was I wasn't sure what to believe and I wasn't going to drop $300 plus when I know there are other upgrades out there that are a sure thing for the money. But read through the thread and see what you think, it's interesting..wish there would've been more guys come forward that may have installed these things.

I like both, but I have heard from customers the Jammers run a touch hotter.

On the intake manifold, I have many CFM+ units out there and no complaints. Several reported back increases in the midrange. I posted a dyno comparison on one thread . . . . .

what he said. there are a lot of poeple that use the jammers and are very happy with them. but with my DDP's can pull some heavy loads with the box turned down to 2x3 and get along just fine. but all that power is hard on the tranny, bu hey its just money:D

I had the stage 4 jammers and could never get them to work. Truck idled rough and under a load it would hesitate and shudder. Took us a bit to figure out it was the jammers. Had them pop tested twice, it helped about 50%. I kept digging for answers and the guys and diesel dynamics said they had to be "set up" just right. They said they would take a look at them. An incredable nice guy out there named Cord Reynolds said they had a manufacturing defect and warrantied a non-warranty item. He could have easily said "scew you" you dorked them up on install. They ended up sending me the whole new stage 5 injector..body and nozzle....does that mean it's still a jammer? I don't know. Haven't tested them yet, waiting for the chance(that's code for more money) to put them in with a bigger turbo. What are DDP's?
