Everytime I wash my freakin truck the next day it's a mess again! Last week I spent a few hours detailing it. The next morning the wind had blown the sprinkler water all over the side (water spots). Took the kids to the grandparents, Gold fish all over the floor. Drove my ATV through the back window, glass all over the floor:mad:

    I give up:doah:

Don't even talk to me about all the little scratches I find everytime I wash it, it makes me sick to my stomach:eek:

Haha, you've just had a stroke of bad luck lately I guess. I try and keep mine clean and do routine washes about once every 10 days. I just can't stand a dirty truck for very long, it's one thing when I busy farming and have it in and out the field but on the off farming times like winter and summer I won't let myself get it too dirty, or stay dirty for very long. I enjoy getting into a nice clean truck.:)

I HATE driving around in a dirty truck. Unless it is really dirty like covered in Mud:D But that doesnt happen too often and when it does the fun wears off in like 2 days. I keep it clean beacause it is better for the paint. The interior ALWAYS has to remain clean or I flip out.

I haven't washed the outside of my truck in a year. Now the windows and the inside are another story, 6 months since I have cleaned themrotfl . My truck needs paint and a few interior pieces to be made "nice' again, so I don't worry about it too much.

I live on dirt roads and buy my vehicles so the paint color matches the color of the dust from the roads. I wash them every time it rains!

That's the story around here, I was thinking the day how good my truck would look if I would just take the time to wash it. Oh well one day maybe. :doah:

I was my truck every two weeks or so taking one week for my wifes truck and one for mine so that we both have clean trucks mine see more dirt road duty and I park it in the yard so when it rains it get grass and mud on it.
I used to be the worst about keeping something clean until I started to pay for a new truck if I'm working hard to pay for it you can bet I'm gonna work hard to take care of it.
Anyone know what will keep the black streaks off my white paint everytime it rains it makes little black streaks from my mirrors or badges its driving me crazy.

Don't have that problem I work for a carwash company and it's always clean!

The way you wax your truck will deside how clean it will stay when it is muddy or dusty.

My 2001 2500HD looks like the day it pulled off the show room with a few minor scraches, I wax 3 times an year.

I don't usually wash my truck from October till April. Reason being is that in my neck of the woods it's usually raining nonstop that time of year! But I usually washer up every other week or so.

I have to absolutley have my truck clean. IMO, there is no reason not to do it. In the summer, I sprax wax once per week. I always go to the coin-op in the winter.

It is a pain washing them, but I am a fan of the clean truck. I took mine on a trip last weekend and it was filthy when I got home. But, had it clean by Wednesday. Detailed, no. Cleaned and vacuumed out, yes.

I used to say that that but then my dad made an interesting point.

Why do wipe your @$$ when you know its gonna get dirty again?

Now I keep mine clean fairly regular
