Very little... I actually finally caved in and now refuse to shop at Wal-Mart because all they sell is Chinese manufactured garbage. When the lowest price is your highest priority no good can come of your actions. I'd rather spend a little more and buy something that will last more than 3 days from a place that appreciates my business. But then, I'm kind of wierd. :doah:
Yeah, I went to home Depot today to get a level and let my 4 year old get one of those .99 cent tape measure key chains, didn't notice until I got home when I went to take the tag off - "Made in China". :doah:
I guess I mean more of the smaller things that people buy everyday, like toys for kids, silverware, furniture etc..
Might want to rethink your Dodge statement. The Chrysler plant in Saltillo, Mexico was the assembly plant for Ram pickups until 2002(yes, that means yours). Now its a pot shot, you could get one built in St. Louis, Missouri; Warren, Michicagan; or Saltillo, Mexico. Body pannels, interior pannels and other stamped pieces are still being stamped out in Mexico, though. And if you had a gasser, the motor would have been built there too. Dodge has been building stuff in Canada and mexico pretty much since they started, our old 3/4 ton vans came from Canada.
Yup I hate that too. I really try to stick with made in the USA. ALL my trailer stuff is made in the USA, the ratchet-straps I just ordered, Jordan BC, Reese Straight-line & 2.5 Titan and lastly my PJ Trailer. I only hope that all the hardware they use on the trailer is also Made in the U.S.A. waytogo Estamom has his sig set too "Be American, Buy American" waytogo waytogo
Glad you brought that up, some were made in Mexico and some were made here in the states. I got lucky.
I own the only quads made in america. Cannondale baby, handmade in Pennsylvania. Too bad they went bankrupt. :doah:
Far as I know my Polaris Xplorer 400 ATV and both my 800cc Polaris Vertical Escape and 700 Vertical Escape sleds were made in America also. waytogo
