I had heard March 15th as the release date (Diesel Power) but haven't seen a copy yet.

    I've seen it.

Yeah, I picked up a Diesel Power about 10 days ago at my grocery store (Fred Meyer). Already read it. I like it. It looks like it is going to be a quarterly mag though. This first issue says "Spring" and toward the back of the mag it says to watch for the next issue in June. There were no subscription cards in the magazine either. They have already even done a shootout with what looks like 2004 3/4 ton diesel pickups and they actually declared a winner instead of the "all of the trucks were good" line that we usually get in magazines.

    Good magazine so far.

OK, I will try walmart next, so who did they declare the winner?

Well, I didn't want to spoil it for anyone that didn't already read it but...

    1. Ford Super Duty Power Stroke
    2. Dodge Cummins
    3. Chevy Duramax

They have about a 2 page write up on each truck. I found it odd that they used 04 models. Maybe they couldn't get the 05s yet. At least the Ford was 04 since they dinged it on its "archaic 4 leaf spring suspension".

Thanks, will check that out, they probably didn't include any subscription cards yet, because they are still testing the market?

That's probably true. Here's the link to their URL. It gives you a good idea of what's in the magazine. A couple of the trucks look pretty bling but the magazine is pretty practical from what I've seen so far.
