I would imagine if it's a complete kit it should be fine. A bunch of local guys had custom 3" spacers made out of billet aluminum by a machine shop that are really nice. I think that is what I am going to go with, along with another inch or two in the rear to comportably fit 285's.

    Bobby, click on the link.

KORE does not sell, "kits." KORE stands for Kroker (guy's last name) Off Road Engineering. They're not kits. They're completely suspension systems designed specifically for YOUR truck.

I'll be going with the KORE leveling kit on my truck when it gets here (05 3500, 4wd, CTD).

I've always refered to suspension stuff as "kits". Probably should use "system" on setups with the whole shabang but oh well....

Just read over their site some. They look like great kits but sure are expesnive! I like the "progressive 4 leaf pack" rear setup instead of a traditional add a leaf. I must have missed it but does it say how much lift they add?

KORE is designed more to make your suspension progressive rate and give you more control than to raise ride height, but 2-3" for the front and 0-1" rear is what I've heard.

I am definitely going to go with the leveling kit with 5100s all around, but I'm going to seriously consider the chase kit. I think anything more than that for street use is overkill, but the 5100s and their springs should work very nicely.

Now I just gotta find budget for their wheels. I hope someone else comes out with wheels for these trucks. I wish Welds were available in the ~ $350 range in another style and the same size (18x8-8.5) so I could run Nitto Terra Grapplers.

I agree, KORE is not cheap. They ARE custom made for every truck though, and I believe this will result in a quality not found elsewhere.

We shall see when I get mine, probably this summer because of all the crap that is going on with the trail rig this year (Cage, doubler, locks).

I plan on going with the Pace system since I don't need resevoir shocks on a tow rig...

I haven't found anywhere where it says it adds rear lift but 2" in the front is the norm. That levels it out.

I just worry about being butt low when the trailer is hooked up. Right now the back goes down so the truck is level when the trailer and chevy are loaded. Maybe I'll put some air bags in... Already have oba and 2 bags in the shop...

Anywho, it's expensive but the best setup out there. Lance from PBB did there full race setup on his truck and I'm waiting to see the writeup.

I have a dually so I'll be running stock rims since no one makes nice dually rims. Probably run some 35's to even out my 4.10 gearing.

Why do you want to run their rims? Did I miss something there? I plan on running 16x10 Weld Torque Locks on 285/75R/16 BFG M/T's.

You talking to me? If so I don't plan on going with Kore wheels. I just haven't seen any good looking aftermarket dually rims.

run 22.5 inch rims if you lift and want a nicer setup. also air bags would bejust as good. i have to get some for mine before my trip back to cali. truck sits level with the GN and headlights blind everyone. maes no sense to adjust headlights all the time.

I am considering their rims for a number of reasons, the most of which is that they're the only ones correct for the truck available AFAIK.

10" rims and 285s are going to look really silly, I think, and you'll likely have rubbage without a pretty serious lift.

Oh good lord no!!! I think those rims look absolutely hideous on trucks... Nothing bigger than the stock 17" thank you very much.

IIRC the 285's have nearly a 10" tread width but I'll have to double check. If I remembered right it will look good, just a little shorter than a 33" and almost as wide. I probably wouldn't even need a lift to clear them.

Sorry, I meant Tim. I like the dually Alcoas.

305s would have approximately a 10" tread width. 285s have a 10.5" section width or so and 8.5-9" of tread. Like I said, if you can even get the tires to mount, it'd look absolutely horrid.

Getting the tires to mount would be easy, I've seen 14" rims on 36x13.50 tires. I now agree after checking the specs on the sizes. I am most interested in the 305's.

Not me, the tire guy. :D They just blow a whole bunch of air into the tire and it pops on the bead.

Regardless, tires on really wide wheels are a PITA to mount.
