Any one else had the same problem. Just changed the oil and notice it was leaking. Try to get the dealer to call back to set up a service call and get it in under warranty.

Are you sure it's not just the blowby residue?

It smells like gear oil and there is no oil on top of the diff.

OK, it's just a common complaint at the dealer. Good luck.

I just had mine done a couple of weeks ago. Had the tires rotated at the tire shop and they pointed it out to me. It was just a little wet at that time, so I waited until it began to drip just in the case that it may seal itself.

I was at about 38,000 mis. However, when I bought the truck they were giving a 300.00 rebate or 100,000 mi drivetrain warranty. I took the warranty.

I still can't get them to fix the steering problem. Pulls to the right. I have read that they need to install an offset ball joint on the pass side, but they won't. They say it is not a tsb. I have read that it is a "tech" note. So they do everything but fix it.

    Finally Fixed

I finally got the front end fixed, I only had to take it to two dealership. The first dealership said, The engine is over filled with 2 quarts to much oil, that is why oil is dripping out the blow by tube and leaking down the front end and is not leaking out the front pinion seal. So I asked, since when does engine oil smell like gear oil. They still would not do anything about the problem. So if you live in Colorado up North do not take you truck to Litha Dodge. I have been there 3 times for different things and have never been able to get anythings fixed. I finally ended up at Ferrero Dodge and they took one look and said, Your front seal is leaking and fix the problem, No questions just fix the problem. Any one else have the same problems. Dee
