ok i know i asked about lift kits earlier but im now thinking about just getting a 2.5 leveling kit and was wondering what the experts think about a replacement spring leveling kit or the kit with just the spacer which one would you use and why?????? im gonna replace the shocks also and would really appreciate opinions on which shocks give the best ride comfort wise my truck sees about 75% highway use and the rest is camp roads so im looking for something to ride better then my stosk suspension.????? thanx again

I'd go spacers, you preserve the factory ride and it's cheaper. I would use Bilstein shocks.

ok i will be odd man out.. i have had both. i had skyjacker D25 coils on my 01 3500 and i have spacers on my 01 2500 if i have to do it again i would go coils hands down. i would say that the coils rode much better than the spacers did as well as made the truck handle a bit better....

Kore just plain makes some bada$$ stuff.....

But with that....they aren't cheap. I've heard their stuff is at the top of the food chain when it comes to lifts.

I'm running 285's. Without the leveling kit, they rub a little on tight turns. With the leveling kit, got plenty of room and I like the look. waytogo

Post the pics when your done. I added the leveling kit in the front and that made enough room for the 35's. The ride is a little hard. I might have to rethink that at some point.

I like the look of the 18 inch rims and 35 inch tires. The 20 inch rim made such a big difference in ratio, I didn't care for it as much. 18 to 35 is a great balance IMHO.
