I am new to the forum. We are looking at purchasing a 2009 F450 King Ranch. I have no clue as to specific issues with specific model yrs. Are there any year specific issues to be aware of for this year truck? I hope it was ok to post this link. This is the truck we are looking at, we test drove it last night and we love it. Can anyone offer any advise or thoughts that might help us out. It has 21,100 miles/ 6.4L/ 430 rear/ 5 speed 5R110Wtrans(I think thats right). Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. We are thinking of getting a 40 ft 5th wheel RV. We also would like to pull our JD 410C Backhoe sometimes 15,500Lb plus trailer so 21,000 or so Lbs. I know I have not offered alot of info and that everyone has their favoriate brands. we drove a 2012 3500 Ram but it will not handle the backhoe.
