Is there any 315/75/16 load range E tires? could settle on 33" 285/75/16 but would like the 35". I bought a 11' pickup camper and need to put some good rubber under the truck. I heard the toyo m-55 are nice, rated at 3800lbs per tire. Would need at least a all terrain or mud terrain tire. any suggestions?
I have heard that Toyos Mud Countrys are good although I have no personal experience with them. I also really like the BFG ATs. I believe that you can get a 315 with an E rating from them. If not dont be afriad of a D rated tire. Just look at the weight rating of the tire. The 285s that I had on my old truck were D rated and had a higher rating than the Es that I took off of it.
Toyo Open Country M/T LT315/75R16 E-rated OAD 34.9" / 8" - 9.5" rim Toyo Open Country M/T LT305/70R16 E-rated OAD 33" / 8" - 10" rim I can't find an A/T from Toyo to go 35"
The LT315/75R16E Toyo Open Country are 34.9" dia and have 3,860 lb capacity @ 80psi. http://www.toyo.com/docs/tires/product_spec.asp?lpid=18136&name=Open Country M/T™&category=lgt
The only tire that would make me go away from my beloved Coopers is the Toyo 315 E-rated MT. That is a great tire. I think it would serve you well.
I like the looks of it, man do they want a arm and a leg for it. the cheapest i could find was $233 a tire plus shipping. would like to find something for under $200 a piece. what other tires do you guys recommend? again 315/75/16 10 ply with a 3600 pound load rating. would like a speed rating to 112mph (S) also.
Has anybody tried the Kumho Road Venture MT KL71, 315/75R/16 E load rated? http://www.kumhousa.com/Tire.aspx?id=49&cat=25
I know that I had supported the Toyo MT's earlier in the thread... and they are a great tire but way too expensive. I ended up going with Pro Comp X-treme AT's on my truck. Although mine are not 35's, they are an aggressive AT that are load range E. And if you buy them at the right time from 4 wheel parts, you can get a buy 3 get 1 free deal (which is what i did)
another option is the parnelli jones dirt grip 315/75/r16 e rated to 3640 lbs at 65 psi. the kumho road venture mt is e rated to 3860 at 65 psi. also you might consider checking the specs on some of the d rated tires. some are over 3000 lbs per tire.
The new BFG Muds KM2s are now E rated! Im changing from the KM1s that are d to the new KM2s.... check em out.waytogo
